OBX, birds and flowers
I finally finished my upper back (it's only taken me 2 years to get the money, whoops) and got my OBX tattoo on my foot :) First, my foot:  Highway 12 South with some sea oats. Highway 12 is the main road strip the outer banks is on - one way in, one way out. The OBX is a very special place to me for many reasons - easily my favorite place in the world. I needed something to adequately express my love for the island. ( +2 )( And my back )The original back piece was done by Jeff Pitt at Read Street Tattoos. Jeff has apparently moved on, so the bluejay and some touch-ups were done by new owner Charlie Foos, who is AWESOME. He did my friend's tattoo that matches the one in my icon, too. Hello everyone! I just joined the group and as of now, I've only got one tattoo on my wrist. I want to get more done, and have an idea in mind, but I'm not sure where to put it. I want it somewhere where people can see it, but I feel like since I don't have a lot of tattoos, it'd look weird/dumb if I put it somewhere on my untattooed arm. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! :) |

I went to the Best in the Midwest Tattoo Convention in Council Bluffs, Iowa last weekend! After browsing everyone's booths, I decided to go with Ryan Thomas of Black 13 Tattoo in Nashville, TN. The shop owner, Josh Woods, is actually on the Spike show Ink Master! I had been brewing on this idea for a few months and finally decided to get my SModcast tattoo! It's run by Kevin Smith and his producer Scott Mosier. They sign off with "Have a week!" every time and Scott has a huge love of unicorns (and he told me to get one on Twitter, I couldn't resist!). Plus, who the fuck doesn't need a unicorn tattoo?  |

Cover-Up
I'm in the process of getting a cover-up tattoo. I got a pin-up girl when I was 16 years old and it's was my only tattoo of 11 that I regretted. I've planned to get her covered with an octopus or a squid for the last couple years and I have finally started the new piece. ( The Octopus Ate The Girl... ) |

Hello all!
Hi all! I got my first tattoo done Friday night around 9 PM. The pic was taken immediately after he finished tattooing. It's the logo from Sick Puppies album Tri-Polar, or Tri-Polar rings on my wrist/forearm. :) I know some of the lines are a wee bit wonky though. I'm planning on going in a few months to have it touched up (during the healing process a few white spots have popped up so far) and the lines fixed. I love it regardless, Sick Puppies are my favorite band, and trust me I have a good 15-20 more tattoos planned (At least 10 of which are related to bands). Bruising after Tattoo
Hey guys! I just got my bicep tattooed to add on to my half-sleeve. Everything seems to be healing like normal, but I do have one concern - I seem to have some swelling and bruising not on my tattoo area, but a little further down? I know the bicep area is probably more tender, but I guess I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this? It's fairly warm and you can see in the picture that it's kinda swollen. I got it done Saturday, and I was pretty worn out on Sunday, but I feel okay today! I emailed my tattoo artist, but thought I would ask here in the meantime! Thanks, guys :) ( Pics here ) |

I have 4 tattoos currently, this pictures are from when they were done so are old but most look the same may need a few touch ups here and there hehe My husband and I are both planning to get a tattoo soon [a 1st for him] and I'm way over due for one as my last was about 6 years ago! how long to wait?
hello all. i recently started a half sleeve on my arm, or what i eventually want to be a half sleeve. anyways i started in the end of december, and at the end of january i got a staph infection. how long should i wait until i can continue my tattoo? ( picture behind the cut yay! ) |

Hi all
Got my first tattoo last month (12th) and my second one today. First one is what i call my "sister tattoo" my sister and i both got the same thing. second is an owl. A constant reminder to be wise. (a.k.a. dont be stupid lol) More to the point, to remind me not to act rash and think about my actions before i act them out. The sister one is on my right inner wrist, and the owl is on my left inner wrist. I adore them both. ( wanna see? ) Current Mood:  bouncy |
